Angie Dove gets Det. Carter's attention by stumbling on a murder at an art museum. Angie's father Nick is on his own case, trying to solve a series of petty thefts at the museum.
Trivia
– In the library Angie picks up a book Derick dropped: “Deadly by Surprise”. This title was a spoofed Hallmark Movie in “Knives Out” (2019) where the character ‘Fran’ recounts a Hallmark movie “Deadly by Surprise” where Danica McKeller plays a wife that is being poisoned by her husband.
– On discovering the body, Angie’s father checks the victim’s pulse with his thumb. You shouldn’t use your thumb as it it has a pulse itself.
